Virginia "Jane" Brown, age 66 of Eimicke Dr. Watertown, formerly of Dexter, passed away Wednesday October 21, 2014 at Samaritan Medical Center following surgery. Virginia was born August 3, 1948 in Carthage the daughter of Milton and Marta Makuch Dening. She graduated from Adams Center/Adams Central High School. Virginia married Gary W. Brown Sr. on December 6, 1969 at Bethany Methodist Church in Watertown. The couple lived in Watertown and moved to Dexter in 1985. Virginia was a Day-care provider for over 35 years in her home. She was an avid Yankee Fan and collected baseball cards, was a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Altar and Rosary Society, enjoyed the company of her grandchildren. She is survived by her fiance' Harry Buckles of Watertown and four children; Gary W. Brown Jr. of Brownville, Mary and Paul Grant of Watertown, Lura Brown-Kinnie of Adams Center, Tina and Mike Goodwin of Brownville and seven grandchildren. She also has seven siblings surviving and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Gary Sr. on February 26, 2002 A funeral mass will be held at St. Patricks' Church of Watertown on Monday October 27th at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Dexter Cemetery.
