Vivian May Blair, 96, 275 Wealtha Avenue, Watertown, NY, passed away at home on Saturday, September 23, 2017.

At her request there will be no services held and arrangements are entrusted to the Hart and Bruce Funeral Home, Watertown, NY.

Born on May 23, 1921, in Watertown, daughter of Earl and Mabel Cole, she graduated from Watertown High School. She was a homemaker.  In her earlier years she worked as a care giver, a cashier, a waitress, and once owned and operated the Main Street Market in LaFargeville, NY.

She is survived by four children, Charles R. Taylor, Watertown, NY, Vyvyan Chrisman, Watertown, NY,  Kent and Denise Blair, Chaumont, NY, Sonya Pistolese, Tampa, Florida, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Along with her husband, Marvin Blair, Vivian was predeceased by two sisters, Arlene Crouch and Beverly Cole, two brothers, Lyle and Richard Cole, and granddaughter Karen Taylor.

A previous marriage to Charles P. Taylor (deceased) ended in divorce.

Also, the family gives their heartfelt thanks for the excellent care and comfort given to their mother by Mrs. Nena Crouch, her family and Hospice of Jefferson County.
